The Threatening Call Begins

Tattooed CEO Defends Maid After Mysterious Phone Call Threat

Sada gripped her feather duster until her knuckles turned completely white.

She wiped away a hot tear before it could drop onto the shiny floor.

Working as a live-in maid in the grand Dallas mansion was her only source of income.

She needed every single dollar to support her little brother, Toby, back home.

Her phone suddenly buzzed inside her apron pocket, vibrating violently against her hip.

She checked the screen and felt her heart instantly stop beating.

It was an unknown number, but her gut warned her to answer immediately.

Sada: Hello?

Caller: We have your little brother, Sada.

Sada: What? No, please, leave Toby out of this!

Caller: Your deadbeat father owed us fifty thousand dollars before he vanished.

Sada: I don't have that kind of money!

Caller: You have one hour, Sada.

Sada slumped against the pristine white marble wall, letting out a shattered sob.

Her voice echoed through the massive, quiet hallway of the luxury estate.

Down the hall, a heavy door swung open with a soft metallic click.

Marcus, the wealthy CEO and owner of the estate, stepped into the light.

He was a imposing man, covered in intricate tattoos along his arms and neck.

Most people in the business world feared his ruthless reputation and tough exterior.

He noticed his young maid crying hysterically on the expensive hardwood floor.

Marcus: What is going on out here?

Sada: I am so sorry, Mr. Vance!

Sada: I didn't mean to disturb you, I swear!

Marcus: Who is threatening you?

Sada: Nobody, sir, it's just a family matter!

Marcus didn't hesitate for a single second as he stepped closer.

He reached down and pulled the vibrating phone right out of her trembling hand.

Marcus: Who the hell is this?

Caller: Tell Sada she better bring the cash or the kid pays the price.

Marcus: Listen to me very carefully, you coward.

Marcus: Touch the boy and I'll bury your entire crew!

The caller went completely silent on the other end of the line.

Marcus ended the call and tossed the phone onto a nearby table.

He looked down at Sada, his dark eyes filled with absolute determination.

Marcus: Get up, Sada.

Sada: Mr. Vance, please don't get involved!

Marcus: Nobody threatens people under my roof.

Marcus: We are going to get your brother right now.
