Dispatcher: Unit 4, we have suspect Richard Vance in custody. He attempted to flee through the rear entrance with two passports and $10,000 in cash, but Officers intercepted him.
Officer Miller: Copy that, Dispatch. Great work. Bring him in for booking.
Mark let out a long breath he felt like he had been holding all day, wrapping his arms around Sarah and Lily.
Mark: It's over. He can't touch our family ever again.
Sarah: I still can't believe how close we came to losing everything today.
Officer Miller: If Duke hadn't picked up the snake's scent from fifty yards away, things would have ended very differently. Animals have a sense for danger that humans just lack.
Mark: Officer Miller, I want to make a official donation to your K-9 unit. Whatever equipment, vest upgrade, or specialized training Duke needs, I'm paying for it completely out of our estate funds.
Officer Miller: That's very generous of you, sir. Duke definitely earned a huge steak tonight.
Lily: Can I give him his favorite treat, Daddy?
Mark: You certainly can, Lily. In fact, we're going to visit Duke every single week from now on.
Sarah looked at Officer Miller and the brave K-9 officer standing beside him, her tears of terror finally turning into tears of deep relief and gratitude.
Sarah: Thank you for saving our world today, Officer. You and Duke are true heroes.
