A Cruel Stepmother Try To Bury My Mother Alive

The bright sun shone through the tall stained glass windows of the quiet chapel.

Seven-year-old Lily stood near the white casket, her small hands trembling with fear.

Her stepmother, Victoria, walked over quickly and glared down at the young girl.

Victoria snatched Lily by the arm and pulled her away from the casket.

Victoria: You do not belong anywhere near this place today.

Lily: I heard a sound coming from inside the box!

Victoria: Stop telling foolish lies right now, you spoiled child.

Lily backed away slowly as her heart pounded heavily inside her small chest.

She had felt the wooden casket vibrate just moments before the guests arrived.

Victoria moved closer to block the girl from reaching the front aisle again.

Victoria: If you say another word, I will lock you away.

Lily: But Mommy opened her eyes just a minute ago!

Victoria: Your mother is gone, and this estate is mine now.

Lily wiped away her hot tears and looked toward the heavy entrance doors.

She desperately needed her father to arrive before it was far too late.

The heavy double doors suddenly swung open with a loud, echoing thud.

Mark stepped into the bright room, his eyes scanning the quiet sunlit space.

Lily ran across the smooth marble floor as fast as she could manage.

Lily: Daddy, you have to help me right now please!

Mark: What happened to you, sweetheart? Why are you crying?

Lily: Victoria tried to stop me from saving my Mommy!

Mark dropped down to one knee and wrapped his arms around his daughter.

He felt her body trembling with intense panic and absolute terror.

Victoria walked forward with a calm, fake smile painted on her face.

Victoria: The poor child is just confused by her deep grief.

Lily: She is lying, Daddy! Mommy is still breathing inside!

Mark: Stand behind me right now, Lily. Let me look.

Mark stood up tall and stared coldly at his new wife Victoria.

He walked directly toward the open casket sitting at the front altar.

Victoria stepped right into his path to block him from moving forward.

Victoria: You should not disturb the ceremony, my dear husband.

Mark: Get out of my way before I lose my patience.

Victoria: I am only trying to protect you from more pain.

Mark shoved past her arm and looked straight down into the casket.

His wife Sarah lay inside, but her eyelids fluttered very faintly.

A soft, weak gasp came directly from her pale, trembling lips.

Mark: Sarah is alive! Someone call an ambulance right now!

Victoria: That is impossible, the doctor signed the papers yesterday!

Mark: You poisoned her to steal her vast inheritance and trust!

Victoria turned around quickly and tried to run toward the side exit.

Mark grabbed her firmly by the wrist before she could escape outside.

Two uniformed police officers rushed through the chapel doors with hand restraints.

Mark: Arrest this woman for attempted murder and fraud right now!

Victoria: You have no real proof that I did anything wrong!

Mark: The medical test will prove every single thing you did.

The officers placed Victoria in handcuffs as she shouted threats in anger.

Mark held Lily tightly in his arms as the paramedics hurried inside.

They placed Sarah onto a gurney to rush her to the hospital.

Mark: You are safe now, my sweet daughter. It is over.

Lily: Will Mommy be okay when we get to the hospital?

Mark: Yes, she will survive, and Victoria is going away forever.

Justice had finally prevailed, and their family was restored once again.
