The Unforgivable Betrayal At Lunch

A Stepmother Tried To Ruin My Baby Girl Forever

Mark sat in his quiet corner office while looking at financial papers for his growing business.

He worked hard every single day to build a strong trust fund for his infant daughter Lily.

His first wife had passed away shortly after giving birth to their beautiful baby girl.

Mark had married Victoria a year later, hoping to give Lily a loving mother figure.

Victoria always acted like a gentle stepmother whenever Mark was watching her closely in public.

She smiled sweetly for family photos and bought expensive baby clothes at the luxury mall.

However, behind closed doors, Victoria grew jealous of the attention baby Lily received every day.

She resented the huge inheritance that Mark had set aside in his official legal will.

On a bright Tuesday afternoon, Mark returned home early from an important corporate boardroom meeting.

He walked softly across the sleek marble floor of their high-rise penthouse dining hall.

Mark heard Victoria speaking sharply in a harsh tone he had never heard her use before.

He paused near the arched entryway to observe the quiet scene playing out inside the kitchen.

Victoria stood over six-month-old Lily while holding a steaming bowl of hot vegetable soup high.

The little baby girl sat innocently in her high chair, wearing a clean beige cotton dress.

Victoria tilted the bowl intentionally, spilling the warm liquid directly onto the baby's tray and lap.

Baby Lily immediately burst into loud, heartbroken tears as the liquid ruined her sweet dress.

Mark felt a wave of absolute horror surge through his entire body in that single second.

He dropped his leather briefcase onto the polished floor with a loud, ringing crash.

Mark: What do you think you are doing to my baby?

Victoria gasped sharply and spun around, dropping the empty bowl onto the table behind her.

Victoria: Mark, it was just an accident, I swear she reached for it!

Mark: I stood right here and watched you pour it directly on her!

Victoria: You are completely misinterpreting what just happened in this room right now!

Mark: Get away from my daughter before I lose my temper completely!

Mark rushed forward and shoved Victoria aside to reach his terrified crying baby girl instantly.

He snatched a soft white cloth napkin from the counter and gently wiped Lily's tear-stained face.

He checked her delicate skin carefully to ensure she was not burned or physically hurt.

Lily buried her tiny face into Mark's crisp white shirt, shivering from the shocking fright.

Mark wrapped his arms securely around his daughter, holding her close to his beating heart.

He turned his gaze toward Victoria, his eyes cold with absolute anger and total disgust.

Mark: Your fake act is completely over, Victoria.

Victoria: You cannot throw me out over a simple little household mistake!

Mark: You deliberately hurt a helpless infant because of your disgusting green jealousy!

Victoria: I am your wife, and I deserve your loyalty over this child!

Mark: You are a monster, and you will leave my penthouse right now!
