The Lies Inside The Mansion

A Wealthy Stepmother Tried To Frame The Maid Forever

Clara adjusted her white apron as she walked across the bright marble floor of the grand Dallas foyer.

She had worked for the wealthy Montgomery family as a live-in housekeeper for nearly three years.

The massive estate always felt cold despite the luxurious artwork hanging on every pristine white wall.

Mark Montgomery was a successful businessman who spent long hours managing his family trust fund and estate.

He had recently become engaged to Victoria, a prominent socialite from a very wealthy Texas family.

Victoria never liked Clara from the moment she moved into the sunlit mansion earlier that year.

She constantly complained about minor details like dust on the glass or cold morning coffee service.

Clara always kept her head down and focused entirely on her daily household duties around the house.

Her main joy was taking care of Mark's infant son named Leo during the busy afternoon hours.

Little Leo was only eight months old and required constant attention from his loving young nanny.

Mark loved his baby boy more than anything else in the entire world after his wife passed away.

Victoria hated the fact that Mark spent so much time giving attention to his baby son.

She wanted Mark to focus entirely on their upcoming wedding and her lavish lifestyle demands.

Victoria: Why is that child crying in the living room again?

Clara: Little Leo is just hungry for his afternoon milk, ma'am.

Victoria: Take him outside near the pool area immediately so I do not hear him.

Clara: Of course, I will take him into the fresh air right away.

Clara gently picked up the small child and carried him toward the outdoor patio doors.

The bright summer sunlight illuminated the sparkling blue water of the large backyard swimming pool.

Clara sat down on a comfortable lounge chair near the edge of the deep water.

She gently rocked the baby while humming a quiet song to help him rest peacefully.

Victoria walked out onto the patio a few minutes later while wearing an expensive green dress.

Her face looked deeply troubled as she checked her heavy gold wrist watch twice.

She knew that Mark was returning home early from his downtown corporate board meeting today.

Victoria had secretly transferred funds out of the family business account earlier that week.

She desperately needed a massive distraction before Mark checked the recent banking records on his computer.

She planned to blame Clara for negligence so Mark would fire her without any questions asked.

Victoria: You are doing a terrible job keeping this patio tidy today, Clara.

Clara: I just brought Leo outside like you asked me to do, ma'am.

Victoria: Do not talk back to me in that disrespectful tone of voice!

Victoria suddenly stepped very close to Clara with a furious look in her dark eyes.

She reached out and forcefully shoved Clara backward right near the slippery edge of the pool.

Clara lost her footing on the wet tiles and stumbled close to the water.

She held the baby tightly against her chest to shield him from any dangerous impact.

The sudden move caused the baby stroller to tip over into the deep water with a splash.

Clara fell onto her knees on the hard stone patio while safely holding the baby.

She screamed loudly for help as water splashed across her uniform and freckled face.

Clara: No, please help us right now!

Victoria: You ruined everything you incompetent girl!
