Julian Vance rushed across the marble hall with long, frantic strides.
His face was pale with utter disbelief and growing shock.

Julian: What is going on in this hall?

Margarethe: This crazy maid broke into the restricted utility closet!

Julian: But... the hospital told me you were gone forever!
Elena: Margarethe paid them to lie so she could take my place!

Margarethe: She is lying to you, Julian! She is completely crazy!

Julian reached out a trembling hand and touched Elena's cheek softly.
Tears overflowed from his dark eyes and spilled down his face.
Julian: She is my legal wife and Ethan's real mother!
Margarethe gasped in sheer panic as her elaborate trap collapsed completely.
Margarethe: No, Ethan, listen to me right now!
Ethan ran out from the secret passage and wrapped his arms around Julian's leg.
Ethan: Daddy! That bad lady kept me trapped in the room!
Ethan: She told me you would leave if I made any noise!
Julian fell to his knees on the cold marble floor and hugged Ethan tightly.
Julian: My poor boy! I am so sorry I did not know!
He looked up at Margarethe with intense, burning fury in his eyes.
Julian: You locked my son away in a hidden room for months!
Margarethe: I did it to keep our family together, Julian!
Julian: You are a monster who ruined our lives for money!
Margarethe: Please, we can talk about this in private!

Margarethe tried to turn toward the front door to escape from the mansion.
