Margaret: Arrest warrant? Do you know who my family is? My lawyer will have you fired by tomorrow morning!
Prosecutor: Your family lawyer was arrested two hours ago, Mrs. Sterling. He already confessed to helping you fake the estate documents.
Arthur: He confessed? Oh God... we're going to prison.
Margaret: Shut your mouth, Arthur! Don't say another word!
Clara: It's over, Margaret. The truth is out, and everyone in this room knows exactly who you are now.
Officer: Put your hands behind your back, ma'am. You have the right to remain silent.
The officer stepped forward, pulling metal handcuffs from his belt. Margaret shrieked as he snapped them around her wrists over her expensive silk sleeves.
Margaret: Get your hands off me! Clara, you miserable little rat, you ruined everything!
Clara: You ruined yourself the day you chose greed over honor, Margaret.
Arthur: Clara... please... talk to the prosecutor! Tell them I was tricked! I'll give you back every cent of the inheritance!
Clara: You don't have anything left to give back, Arthur. It was never yours to begin with.
The second officer cuffed Arthur, leading him toward the open front doors beside his weeping mother.
Guest 1: Absolutely shameful... to treat Charles's real daughter like a servant in her own house.
Guest 2: I am calling my financial board tomorrow morning. We are pulling all investments from the Sterling firm immediately.
Margaret glared at the crowd of people who had been praising her just minutes ago, her face red with tears and humiliation as she was led down the front steps in handcuffs.
Prosecutor: Miss Clara, the court has officially placed you in control of the estate assets effective immediately. The house is yours.
Clara: Thank you, sir. Please ensure all court documents are finalized by tomorrow.
