Victoria: Don't listen to her, Julian! She's just a maid trying to cause trouble! Call security right now!
Julian: Shut up for a second, Victoria! Just shut up!
Julian walked slowly toward Elena, his eyes completely fixed on the gold crest ring sparkling in the sunlight. His hands were shaking as he reached out, though he didn't touch her.
Julian: That ring belonged to my father. He wore it every single day until the night he disappeared fifteen years ago. He swore there were only two made in the entire world—one for him, and one for his lost daughter.
Victoria: What are you talking about? Our sister died when she was three years old! Everyone knows that! She's lying!
Elena: I’m not lying, Victoria. And you know it deep down inside, don't you? Look at the family crest engraved right here on the gold surface.
Elena stepped closer, extending her hand so Julian could see the tiny initial engraved beneath the crest.
Julian: It has the letter 'E' engraved on the side... Father's private seal. Oh my god... Elena?
Elena: Yes, Julian. My real name is Eleanor Kensington. Your actual older sister.
Victoria: This is a ridiculous scam! She found that ring in my father's old bedroom while cleaning! She's a thief!
Elena: I didn't find it in his room, Victoria. Our father gave it to me himself the night he was forced to send me away to protect me from your mother.
Julian: Wait... what do you mean, protect you from mother?
Elena: Ask your mother. She's standing right at the top of the stairs watching us, isn't she?
Julian turned quickly toward the grand staircase. Their mother, Evelyn Kensington, was standing near the top railing, clutching her silk robe with a face as white as paper.
Evelyn: Julian... don't listen to a single word that girl says. She is trying to ruin this family on the day of your father's estate reading.
Elena: The estate reading is the exact reason I'm standing here today, Evelyn. You spent fifteen years convincing everyone I was dead so your children could take my share of the trust fund.
Victoria: You're insane! You were just a housemaid cleaning our toilets yesterday! You have zero proof!
Elena: I have plenty of proof, Victoria. In fact, I have the certified DNA test results right in my jacket pocket, backed by the family lawyer himself.
Julian: You spoke with Mr. Vance? The probate attorney?
Elena: Mr. Vance was the one who helped me get this job three years ago so I could gather evidence safely. He is on his way to this house right now with the official court order.
