Officer Hawkins: Victoria Vance? We have a warrant for your arrest issued by the Dallas County District Attorney.
Four uniformed police officers stepped into the ballroom, their heavy boots echoing on the polished marble floor.
Victoria: Get your hands off me! Do you have any idea who I am?!
Officer Hawkins: Yes, ma'am. You are under arrest for physical assault, child endangerment, labor exploitation, and grand financial fraud.
Victoria: Ethan, tell them to stop! You cannot let them handcuff me in front of everyone!
Ethan: You brought this on yourself, Victoria. You struck my sister with a leather strap in front of this whole room.
Officer Hawkins: We also recovered the leather strap from the floor as physical evidence, ma'am. Turn around and put your hands behind your back.
Victoria shrieked as the cold steel handcuffs clicked tightly around her wrists.
Victoria: You will regret this, Ethan! My defense lawyers will tear this ridiculous case apart in court!
Arthur: Your defense lawyers won't be able to do much, Victoria. We have already submitted the financial audits and the video footage from tonight's security cameras directly to the state attorney.
Lily: Goodbye, Mrs. Vance. I won't be cleaning your shoes anymore.
The entire ballroom erupted into loud applause as the officers escorted a screaming Victoria out through the front doors of the mansion.
Ethan: Are you alright, Chloe? Your hands are trembling.
Lily: I... I don't know what to feel. It feels like a dream I haven't woken up from yet.
Ethan: It is not a dream. You are home now, and nobody will ever mistreat you again.
Arthur: Miss Vance, we have arranged an expedited DNA testing team at the private clinic down the street to finalize the legal paperwork for the state court.
Lily: Will it take long?
Arthur: We will have the swab results in less than twenty-four hours. Once confirmed, full legal control of your trust fund and estate shares will be restored to you immediately.
Ethan: You never have to work as a maid again, Chloe. This mansion, our father's legacy, half of it belongs to you.
Lily: I don't care about the mansion or the money, Ethan... I am just glad I have a brother.
Ethan pulled his younger sister into a tight embrace, tears filling his eyes as he held her for the first time in twenty years.
Ethan: I looked for you everywhere, Chloe. I never stopped believing you were alive somewhere out there.
Lily: Mother told me before she died that someone with matching eyes would find me one day...
Ethan: We have our mother's eyes. Both of us.
Arthur: I will handle the press outside and file the restraining orders tonight. Tomorrow, we begin rebuilding what was taken from you.
Ethan: Come on, Chloe. Let's get you out of that maid uniform and into your real room upstairs.
