When a Dallas Millionaire Saw His New Wife Drowning His Daughter

The Dallas sun beat down mercilessly over the turquoise waters of the luxury estate's swimming pool. From the patio terrace, the sound of splashing was not one of playful summer fun, but of violent, desperate struggle. Two-year-old Lily was completely submerged, her tiny pink tutu billowing underwater as her stepmother, Victoria, held her down by her delicate curls.

Elena: Stop! Oh my God, leave her alone!

The house maid, Elena, sprinted across the polished teak deck, her sneakers skidding on the wet wood. She didn't hesitate for a single second. Throwing herself onto her knees at the edge of the pool, she reached deep into the water, her arms plunging past the surface until her fingers wrapped around the frantic child.

Elena: I've got you, baby, I've got you!

Elena pulled the coughing, gasping toddler out of the deep end and pulled her tight against her chest, wrapping her body protectively around the soaked, shivering baby.

Victoria: How dare you touch me, you worthless peasant!

Victoria's hand flew back and struck Elena across the face with a loud, echoey slap that cut through the humid afternoon air. Elena stumbled back, her cheek burning, but her grip on the toddler never loosened. Before Victoria could raise her hand again, heavy footsteps thundered through the glass patio doors.

Marcus: Get away from my daughter!

Marcus, the Dallas real estate tycoon, charged across the patio. His face was twisted in absolute horror and rage. In one swift motion, he stepped between Victoria and the maid, launching his own hand forward. The strike cracked against Victoria’s cheek, sending her spinning back onto a sun lounger.

Marcus: Elena, keep her safe. Call 911 right now!

Victoria: Marcus, darling, listen to me! She's lying to you, it was an accident!

Marcus: Don't you dare speak another word!

Marcus sank to his knees, taking his soaking, crying daughter into his thick arms, pressing his face into her wet hair. But as the distant sirens began to echo in the neighborhood, Marcus had no idea that this pool encounter was only the first layer of a terrifying conspiracy brewed inside his own mansion.
