Sada threw open the heavy front doors into the warm daylight.
Tires screeched as the black vehicle pulled up to the curb.

Sada sprinted down the concrete steps into the bright sunshine.
She dropped to her knees right on the green grass.
Toby threw his arms around her neck with all his strength.

She held him so tight she could barely breathe herself.
Toby buried his face in her shoulder while crying softly.
Toby: Some mean men took me from the bus stop, Sada!

Marcus stepped out onto the porch and adjusted his dark jacket.
He watched the emotional reunion with a small proud smile.
His chief of security walked up the driveway to report.
Security Chief: The police have the suspects in custody, sir.
Marcus: Make sure the law firm presses full felony charges.
Security Chief: Already done, Mr. Vance.
Marcus walked down to the grass where Sada stood with Toby.
Sada looked up at him with endless gratitude in her eyes.
Sada: How can I ever repay you for what you did today?
Sada: I do not have enough money to cover your team's cost.
Marcus shook his head gently and patted Toby on the shoulder.
Marcus: You do not owe me a single penny, Sada.
Marcus: You are a devoted worker and a loving sister.
Marcus: In fact, I am setting up a trust fund for Toby’s education.
Sada stared at him in complete disbelief at his kindness.
Sada: Sir, that is way too much, I cannot accept that!
Marcus: I insist on doing this for your family's future.
Marcus: You will never have to worry about old debts again.
Toby looked up at Marcus with wide curious eyes.
Toby: Are you a superhero, mister?
Marcus laughed softly, a sound Sada had never heard before.
Marcus: Just someone who stands up for good people, kiddo.
Sada wiped away her final tears and held Toby’s hand tightly.
The terror of the morning had completely transformed into peace.
