Richard rushed down the stairs with a worried expression on his face.

Richard sprinted across the room to shield his young daughter from harm.

Victoria: Richard darling she is making up stories to drive us apart!
Chloe: Look at the bank transfers scattered across the floor right now!
Richard leaned down and picked up three of the printed bank statements.
His eyes scanned the lines showing millions sent to an offshore account.
His face grew pale as he recognized his own forged signature on top.
Richard: How could you do this to our family Victoria?
Victoria: It is a complete misunderstanding that I can explain easily!
Richard: You forged my signature on our estate documents!
Victoria stepped back toward the main entrance as her confidence began fading fast.
Victoria: I was only managing our private investments for our future!
Chloe: She tried to clear out my trust fund yesterday dad!
Richard raised his hand to stop Victoria from taking another step forward.
Richard: Do not say another word in front of my daughter.
Victoria: You cannot turn on me after everything I gave you!
Richard: You gave us nothing but lies and deceit from the start.
The distant sound of sirens began rising outside the front iron gates.
Victoria turned her head quickly toward the tall front windows in fear.
Victoria: Who did you call Richard?
Richard: I called the federal investigators two hours ago when Chloe emailed me.
Victoria gasped as she realized her plan had completely failed today.
