Mark sprinted across the marble floor toward his crying child.
Groom: Leave my baby alone!
Sarah turned around in surprise as her face went completely pale.
Mark knelt down on the cold floor to pull Lily into a warm embrace.
Groom: Are you okay? Daddy's got you.
Lily wrapped her small arms around Mark's neck and sobbed loudly.
Lily: She pushed me and hit my arm!
Mark felt a wave of intense anger boil deep inside his chest.
He inspected Lily's arm and saw a bright red mark on her skin.
Mark stood up slowly to face the woman he was about to marry.
Sarah took a quick step back while shaking her hands defensively.
Sarah: It was an accident, I swear!
Groom: Do not lie to me in my own home!
Sarah tried to reach out to touch Mark's arm to calm him down.
Sarah: She was going to break the expensive antique vase, Mark!
Groom: I do not care about a vase when it comes to my daughter!
Mark looked at Sarah as if she were a total stranger.
The sweet persona she maintained for months was completely gone.
A guest who was visiting early stepped into the foyer from the patio.
It was Mark's trusted family lawyer who managed the estate accounts.
The lawyer held a brown envelope containing the prenuptial agreement documents.
Mark pointed a stern finger straight toward the grand front doors.
Groom: You showed me who you really are before it was too late.
Sarah realized her rich future lifestyle was slipping away in seconds.
Sarah: Please, Mark, we can just forget this ever happened!
Groom: The wedding is canceled, and you are leaving right now.
Sarah raised her voice and revealed her true greedy motives.
Sarah: You cannot just throw me out after everything I put up with!
Groom: Watch me put an end to this entire nightmare right now.
