Sarah stomped her foot on the marble floor in pure desperation.
Sarah: I deserve half of this estate after all these months!
Mark pulled out his smartphone with a steady hand.
Groom: I have high-definition security cameras in every single room.
Sarah froze in horror as she looked up at the ceiling corner.
A small red camera light blinked silently near the crown molding.
The entire incident had been recorded in clear digital quality.
Mark called the local police department without taking his eyes off Sarah.
Groom: I need officers at my residence for an assault on a minor.
Sarah grabbed her red velvet train and tried to rush toward the door.
The lawyer stepped in front of the exit and blocked her path firmly.
Lawyer: You need to stay right here until the authorities arrive.
Within minutes, bright police lights flashed through the tall glass windows.
Two officers walked into the bright Texas mansion with hand restraints ready.
Mark pointed straight at Sarah as the officers approached the foyer.
Groom: She put her hands on my child, and I am pressing full charges.
Sarah cried out as the metal handcuffs clicked securely around her wrists.
Sarah: You are making a huge mistake, Mark!
Groom: The only mistake I made was letting you near my daughter.
The officers led Sarah out the grand front entrance under the bright daylight.
Mark watched through the door as they placed her into the police vehicle.
He walked back over to Lily, who was sitting safely on the sofa.
Mark scooped his daughter up into his arms and held her tight.
Groom: Nobody will ever hurt you in this house again, sweetheart.
Lily: Are we going to be okay, Daddy?
Groom: We are going to be better than okay, my love.
Mark canceled the big wedding reception and sent the caterers home peacefully.
He spent the rest of the day playing games in the yard with Lily.
Justice had been served, and their home was filled with love and safety again.
