Unraveling the Will

Drowned in Secrets

Victoria: Open those gates right now, Arthur, or I swear I’ll call my attorneys and file for immediate divorce!

Arthur: Go ahead and call them. A divorce lawyer won't save you from a felony attempted murder charge.

Marcus: Let her call them, Arthur. I want her high-priced lawyers to hear the recording of what she did.

Victoria: You think you're so smart, don't you? You think you can just write me out of your life after ten years?

Marcus: I gave you everything, Victoria. A mansion, black cards, seats on executive boards... and you tried to drown me like trash.

Elena: Mr. Marcus, please drink some water. Your lips are turning blue.

Marcus: I'm fine, Elena. Just stay right here. You're witness to every single word spoken in this yard tonight.

Victoria: A maid’s testimony isn't worth anything in a Texas court! Who is a judge going to believe? A prominent socialite or a girl who cleans toilets for minimum wage?

Arthur: They’ll believe the camera footage, Victoria. And they’ll believe the paper trail of the five million dollars you secretly wired to a shell company in the Cayman Islands three hours ago.

Victoria's eyes widened in sheer terror as Arthur held up a second folder he had brought from the study office.

Victoria: How... how did you find out about those accounts?

Arthur: Because I'm the lead executor of the family trust, Victoria. Every transfer over one hundred thousand dollars triggers a alert directly on my desk.

Marcus: You stole five million dollars from my estate while I was sitting right next to you at dinner?

Victoria: It was my money too! I spent ten years taking care of a crippled man!

Marcus: Crippled?! I paid for your mother’s cancer treatment! I bought your brother his first business!

Victoria: You gave me table scraps compared to what the company is actually worth!

Elena: You are a monster. He trusted you with his life every single day.

Victoria: Shut up, servant! No one asked for your opinion!

The distant sound of police sirens began to echo through the quiet suburban neighborhood, growing louder and closer with every passing second.

Arthur: That’s the police. They’re turning down the driveway right now.

Victoria: No... no, wait! Marcus, please! Tell them it was an argument! Tell them I panicked!

Marcus: I’m telling them the absolute truth, Victoria. Just like Elena did.
