The Shattered Wedding Glass

The Bride Empty-Handed My Daughter Before The Wedding

Selena: Ah! How dare you hit me!

Selena stumbled back violently from the blow, losing her balance on her high heels and crashing hard into a large glass display table lining the hallway.

The heavy table tipped over with a deafening crash, shattering expensive decorative glass, candles, and framed family portraits all over the marble floor.

Selena: My dress! You ruined my silk gown! You're crazy!

Julian: You brought this on yourself the moment you laid a cruel hand on my child's memory!

Eleanor: Stay back, Selena! Don't you come anywhere near this baby again!

Lily: Daddy, I’m scared!

Julian: Shh, Lily, look at daddy. Nobody is ever going to hurt you or throw you out of your house. I promise you.

Selena pushed herself up from the piles of broken glass, her expensive makeup ruined by tears of humiliation and rage.

Selena: You think you can treat me like this?! My father is a lawyer! I will sue you for breach of contract and emotional distress!

Julian: Go ahead and try. My legal team will destroy you before sunset.

Julian slowly reached down to his own finger, pulling off his custom gold engagement band with cold precision.

Selena: What... what are you doing?

Julian: Then give me back the diamond ring I bought you.

Selena: No! You gave this to me! It’s a five-carat ring, it’s legally mine!

Julian grabbed Selena’s wrist with a grip of steel, squeezing until her fingers unclasped, pulling the priceless diamond off her hand.

Selena: Give that back to me! You monster!

Julian tossed both expensive rings onto the cold marble floor. They clinked loudly before settling directly on top of a shattered picture frame containing a photo of his late wife.
