Mark: The wedding is over.
His voice cut through the heavy silence like a knife.
Chloe backed away toward the edge of the poolside deck.
Chloe: Mark, please, you do not understand what she was trying to do!
Mark: I understand everything now.
He immediately pulled out his cell phone and dialed emergency services.
Mark: I need police officers at the estate right away for unlawful restraint and fraud.
Chloe turned completely pale as the guests began to murmur among themselves.
Chloe: You cannot call the cops on me!
Chloe: We were supposed to be married today!
Mark: That was never going to happen.
He grabbed Chloe firmly by the arm to prevent her from escaping into the estate.
Mark: You are going to answer for every single thing you did to Sarah.
Chloe: Let go of me right now!
She tried to twist out of his grip, but Mark held firm as he guided her forward.
Mark: You thought you could lock my sister away and steal our family legacy.
He marched her past the shocked crowd toward the grand exit doors.
Mark: You are going straight to federal prison for this.
Chloe gasped as Mark opened the heavy front doors and led her outside onto the driveway.
Chloe: Mark, stop, everyone is watching us!
Mark: Good, let them see who you really are.
He released her arm at the top of the grand entryway stairs.
Mark: Get off this property and do not ever come near my family again.
Chloe stumbled slightly on the steps as two local police cruisers pulled into the driveway.
Officer Davis: Is this the person who called in the report?
Mark: Yes, officer, she trapped my sister inside a locked room to take her estate documents.
The officers moved quickly and placed Chloe in handcuffs right in front of the gate.
Chloe: This is a massive mistake!
Officer Davis: You have the right to remain silent, ma'am.
The police led Chloe into the back of the patrol vehicle as the gates began to close.
Mark: Justice is finally being served.
He turned around and walked back toward the marble deck where Sarah was resting.
Lily: Mommy, is the bad lady gone for good now?
Sarah: Yes, sweetheart, she is never coming back.
Mark wrapped his arms around his sister and niece in a deep embrace.
Mark: I am so sorry I did not realize what was happening sooner, Sarah.
Sarah: You saved my life today, Mark.
The guests slowly gathered around to offer their support to the rightful family.
Mark: We are going to fix everything that Chloe tried to ruin.
Sarah: Our family estate is safe now.
Lily held both of their hands tightly as they walked back into the main house together.
Lily: I am just glad my real mommy is back with me.
Mark: No one will ever separate us again, Lily.
The dark chapter was finally behind them, and their family was whole once more.
