Arthur: You tried to hurt my son? You said the accident was supposed to target Clara, not Noah!
Julian: You owe my family over a hundred million dollars, Arthur. Did you really think I cared which one of them took the fall?
Arthur: You monster! I gave you control of our shipping routes! I signed over Victoria's estate!
Julian: Victoria's estate was never legally yours to give. Her sister Clara holds the legal power of attorney under her original, un-tampered will.
Clara: And I have the original documents stored in a secure bank vault, Julian. The moment anything happens to me or Noah, those papers go straight to the federal prosecutors.
Julian: A very clever backup plan, Clara. But bank vaults take court orders to open. And court orders take time.
Arthur: Don't touch her! Security, stop him!
Arthur's private security detail didn't move an inch. Instead, they stepped behind Julian Vance, drawing their concealed handguns and aiming them at Arthur and Clara.
Julian: Did you really think your security team was loyal to a bankrupt businessman? I bought them three months ago, Arthur.
Arthur: You bought my own guards? With what money?
Julian: With the money you borrowed from my hedge fund, of course. You're completely broke, Arthur. Every room in this mansion, every piece of art, every car in the garage—it all belongs to Vance Capital now.
Noah: Daddy, I'm scared!
Clara: Come here, Noah. Stand behind me.
Clara pulled the young boy close, shielding him behind her back once again, her eyes fixed on Julian.
Clara: You won't get away with this, Julian. The entire board of directors is present in this room. You can't silence everyone.
Julian: The board members are all investors in my new venture. They've already signed the agreement to vote Arthur out tonight. Isn't that right, gentlemen?
Several wealthy men in the back of the crowd quietly stepped away, turning their eyes to the floor in cold silence.
Arthur: You backstabbing cowards! I made you all rich!
Julian: Business is business, Arthur. Now, Clara, hand over that button and tell me where the physical copy of Victoria's real will is located.
Clara: Never. I spent seven years waiting for the right moment to protect my sister's legacy. I'm not giving it up to a thief.
Julian: Then I guess we'll have to search your apartment, your lockers, and your bank accounts the hard way. Guards, secure the room.
Suddenly, the massive crystal chandelier in the center of the lobby flickered once, twice, and completely went out, plunging the entire grand hall into pitch darkness.
