Officer Davis: We'll take her into custody now, Mr. Sterling. A detective will follow up for the full digital files within the hour.
Ethan: Thank you, Officer. Make sure she doesn't set foot near this property again on bail.
Victoria: Ethan! You'll regret this! You hear me?! You'll pay for this!
The officers led a sobbing, hysterical Victoria down the stone steps and placed her into the back seat of the police cruiser.
Ethan: Get out!
Ethan slammed the massive oak front door shut, the heavy sound echoing through the expansive foyer like the closing of a dark chapter.
Clara: Is it really over? Is she really gone?
Ethan: She's gone, Clara. She will never hurt you or baby Lily ever again.
Clara: I don't know how to act like a Sterling... I've spent my whole life scrubbing floors and taking orders.
Ethan: You don't have to act like anything. You are family. Tomorrow morning, my private estate lawyers will process your rightful inheritance and trust fund transfer.
Clara: What about the estate? What happens to this mansion?
Ethan: Half of this home is legally yours. If you want to stay, it's your home. If you want to sell it and start fresh anywhere in the world, I will support you 100%.
Clara looked down at little Lily, who was fast asleep in her arms, safe and warm against her chest.
Clara: I want Lily to grow up knowing she belongs here. That she never has to hide or feel ashamed of who she is.
Ethan: She will have the best education, the best doctors, and all the love this family was supposed to give you years ago.
Clara: Thank you, Uncle Ethan... for standing up for us when no one else would.
Ethan: You don't have to thank me, my dear. Justice was long overdue, and today, the Sterling family is finally whole again.
