The Tipped Over Glass

The Secret Poisoning Attempt on a Dallas CEO

Victoria lunged forward, trying to grab the phone out of Mark's hand, but Mark pushed her back effortlessly. The mask of polite family concern was completely gone, replaced by desperation.

Victoria: You don't know what you're doing, Mark! Think about the family business! Think about the publicity!

Mark: You tried to kill me in my own home, in front of my daughter!

Victoria: NO, NO, SHE'S LYING!

Mark grabbed Victoria by her arm, his grip like iron, and aggressively dragged her across the pristine marble floor toward the front entrance of the Dallas house.

Victoria: Let go of me! You can't prove anything! It was just a health supplement!

Mark: YOU ARE GOING STRAIGHT TO FEDERAL PRISON! CALL 911 NOW! 🇺🇸

Victoria: Mark, please! Think about your brother! Think about what this will do to the estate!

Mark: My brother died three years ago, and you've been leeching off his legacy ever since. You wanted his share of the inheritance, and when you realized I controlled the trust, you decided to eliminate me.

Victoria: I deserved that money! I gave years of my life to this family!

Mark: You deserve a cell in a federal penitentiary.

He shoved the heavy double white doors open and threw Victoria out onto the concrete porch. She stumbled, falling onto her hands and knees before scrambling back up to look at him with pure hatred.

Mark: Stay right there until the police arrive, or I'll make sure the district attorney presses every maximum charge available.

Mark slammed the heavy front doors shut and bolted the lock, his heart pounding inside his chest like a sledgehammer.
