The Forged Estate Agreement

The Steel Door She Locked to Take It All

Victoria: Arthur, stop speaking! You don't know what you're saying!

Daniel: Step aside, Victoria. Don't test me right now.

Victoria: That is my personal designer bag! You have no legal right to touch my belongings in this house!

Daniel: This house belongs to my family's trust fund, Victoria. You don't own a single brick here.

Daniel reached down, snatched the heavy black leather handbag resting on the console table, and unzipped the main compartment without hesitation.

Victoria: Give that back to me! That is an invasion of privacy!

Daniel: What is this? Why do you have my father's original power of attorney document?

Toby: Dad, here is the water! Grandpa, drink slowly, please!

Arthur: Thank you, my sweet boy. Thank God you ran to find your father.

Daniel flipped through the crisp, notarized legal pages, his jaw clenching so hard a muscle twitched along his cheek.

Daniel: You drafted an emergency guardianship petition? Under whose authority?

Victoria: Under my authority as his primary caregiver! While you were at the corporate headquarters all week, I was the one dealing with his mood swings!

Daniel: My father runs our charitable foundation! He reviewed our annual financial statements yesterday without missing a single digit!

Arthur: She brought a corrupt notary to the house at noon, Daniel. A man named Marcus Vance.

Daniel: Marcus Vance? The disbarred real estate attorney who lost his license two years ago?

Arthur: Yes. She demanded I sign over the voting shares of the Miller Manufacturing estate to an offshore shell company in her name.

Victoria: It was for tax protection! The estate taxes would have ruined this family if Arthur passed away unexpectedly!

Daniel: He is seventy-two with a manageable blood pressure condition, not a dying man!

Arthur: When I refused and picked up the landline to call you, she ripped the cord out of the wall.

Toby: I saw that! She pulled the wire and threw the phone against the radiator!

Victoria: Toby, you shut your lying little mouth!

Daniel: Do not scream at my child again! Take one more step toward him and see what happens!

Victoria clutched her diamond necklace, her breathing rapid and shallow as she realized the walls were closing in around her elaborate scheme.

Victoria: Daniel, think about our social standing! Think about what our friends at the country club will say if you make a public scene!

Daniel: You shoved my son to the floor and left my father to suffocate in an airtight steel safe, and you're worried about country club gossip?

Victoria: I wasn't going to leave him there forever! Only until you came home and signed the joint portfolio consent form!

Daniel: You planned to blackmail me with my own father's life.

Victoria: It wasn't blackmail! It was securing my rightful place as your wife!

Daniel: You are not my wife anymore. As of this exact second, you are a criminal trespassing in this home.
