Mark: You think this home, my money, and my life belong to you, Brenda?
Brenda: I am your mother! I raised you after your father died! I managed his entire real estate trust so you could have this life!
Sarah: You didn't manage it, Brenda. Mark told me everything last month.
Brenda: What did he tell you?! He doesn't know anything about the estate accounts!
Sarah: He knows you stole nearly two hundred thousand dollars from his father's life insurance payout before he turned twenty-five!
Brenda: That was a loan! I invested that money into my own properties!
Mark: You forged my signature on the mortgage papers for your beach house in Florida! I kept quiet for three years because you were my mother, but today you crossed a line you can never walk back from.
Brenda: Mark, don't you dare talk to me about forgery! I saved you from financial ruin!
Mark: You tried to frame a young girl for child endangerment! Do you have any idea what the police do to someone who attempts that?!
Brenda: The police won't do anything to me! It's my word against a security camera in your private house!
Chloe: It's not just the camera, Grandma. My phone was recording audio the whole time you were yelling in the hallway.
Brenda: You sneaky little sneak!
Mark: Don't you take another step toward her!
Mark stepped firmly between his mother and Chloe, his body rigid with rage, his hands clenching into tight fists at his sides.
Mark: Hand over your house key. Right now.
Brenda: You're kicking your own mother out of your house over a fake setup?!
Mark: Key. On the table. NOW!
