Daniel helped Sarah sit safely away from the broken glass.
Daniel: “Are you able to talk?”
Sarah: “Yes. I just suddenly felt weak.”
Daniel looked toward Victoria.
Daniel: “Why were you alone with her?”
Victoria: “I came to speak with the doctor.”
Daniel: “Then why did Sarah collapse right after you entered?”
Victoria became defensive.
Victoria: “You're blaming me without knowing anything.”
Sarah slowly looked at Daniel.
Sarah: “Daniel, there's something you need to know.”
Daniel turned toward her.
Daniel: “What is it?”
Sarah: “Victoria wasn't supposed to be here.”
Victoria's expression changed.
Daniel: “Why not?”
Sarah: “Because the doctor told me this appointment was private.”
Daniel stared at Victoria.
Daniel: “Who gave you access to this room?”
Victoria remained silent.
Then Daniel noticed a folder lying beside the examination table.
He picked it up.
There was a familiar family name written across the front.
Daniel: “Why is our family name on this file?”
Victoria quickly reached for it.
Victoria: “Give that back.”
Daniel pulled the folder away.
Daniel: “Now I really want to know what's inside.”
