A Boy Stopped The Billionaire Wedding With A Stolen Golden Locket

The polished white marble of the Dallas cathedral gleamed beneath the crystal chandeliers, but the grand double doors blew open with a violent bang.

A fair-skinned ten-year-old boy in filthy, oversized clothes sprinted down the aisle, his chest heaving as he gasped for breath.

Boy: Stop the wedding! She is lying about everything!

Gasps echoed across the rows of five hundred wealthy guests sitting beneath the towering American flag artwork on the wall.

Vanessa: What is this street garbage doing in my sanctuary?!

Julian: Hold on, Vanessa. Let the kid breathe.

Vanessa: Let him breathe? He is ruining our day! Security, drag him out back right now!

Vanessa marched down the marble steps in her designer silk gown, her eyes flashing with pure fury.

Boy: Don't marry her, mister! She paid bad people to keep me hidden away in a cellar!

Vanessa: Silence, you filthy street urchin!

With a loud crack, Vanessa slapped the boy across the face, the force spinning him around before she pushed him hard onto the cold stone floor.

Julian: Get away from him! What the hell are you doing?!

Julian broke away from the altar, dropping down in his black tuxedo to cradle the fallen boy.

Julian: Hey, buddy, look at me. Are you alright?

Boy: Please, mister... don't let her take it away. She told them to throw me in the river, but I ran away.

The boy held up a battered, heavy gold locket with trembling fingers, pressing it into Julian's open hand.

Julian: Where did you get this?

Boy: A woman gave it to me before the fire took her. She said to find the man on the billboard.

Julian turned the piece over, his blood running cold as he saw his family crest.

Julian: This is my family crest... Claire's private locket.

Boy: I am your lost son... and she paid them to make sure you never saw me again.
