Victoria: Move out of my way, Richard! You can't keep me here!
Richard: You are not going anywhere until the police take you away in handcuffs!
Victoria: I have rights! I am your legal wife! Half of this estate belongs to me!
Richard: You signed a strict prenuptial agreement, Victoria. And attempted murder voids every single clause in your favor!
The distant sound of police sirens began to echo through the quiet suburban neighborhood, growing louder with every passing second.
Victoria: Please, Richard! We can fix this! We can send Lily to a boarding school! We can start over!
Richard: Touch my child again and I won't wait for the law to deal with you.
Clara: Here, Mr. Sterling. Take this dry towel for Lily. She’s still shivering.
Richard: Thank you, Clara. Thank you... I don't know how I can ever repay you for saving my little girl’s life today.
Clara: You don't owe me anything, sir. I just did what any human being with a heart would do.
Two police cruisers pulled up the long driveway, their red and blue lights flashing brightly against the front windows of the luxury home.
Officer Harris: Hands where we can see them! Nobody move!
Richard: Officer, over here! My wife attempted to harm my daughter in the pool. The entire incident is captured on high-definition video surveillance.
Officer Harris: Ma'am, step away from the gate and put your hands behind your back right now.
Victoria: This is a mistake! My husband is framing me! He’s having an affair with the maid!
Officer Harris: Save it for the judge. You have the right to remain silent.
The officers grabbed Victoria’s arms, pulling them behind her back and snapping the metal handcuffs firmly around her wrists.
