The two police officers stepped forward, pulling out pair of steel handcuffs.
Officer: "Victoria Vance, you are under arrest for attempted child endangerment, aggravated assault, and filing a false police report."
Victoria: "Get your hands off me! Do you know who I am? Arthur, tell them! Tell them to stop!"
Arthur: "The only thing I'm telling them is to take you as far away from my child as possible. The prenup is enforced. You get nothing."
Victoria screamed and cursed as the officers led her out of the mansion in handcuffs, her high heels clicking frantically against the floor until the heavy doors slammed shut once again.
Silence settled over the grand house. Arthur turned to Maria, his eyes filled with profound gratitude and deep regret.

Maria: "You were scared for your baby, Mr. Vance. I understand."
Arthur: "That's no excuse. You saved Chloe's life. I want to offer you a permanent position—not as a maid, but as the head manager of my entire estate and guardian trustee for Chloe's education fund."
Maria: "Mr. Vance... that's too much."
Arthur: "It's not enough. You get a full salary, a private guest house on the property, and complete authority over the household staff. My daughter deserves to be surrounded by people who truly care about her."
Maria looked toward the nursery upstairs, hearing the soft, peaceful sound of little Chloe sleeping. A warm smile broke across her face.
Maria: "I accept, Mr. Vance. I'd love to stay."
