The Broken Vow at the Altar

Clara: Get that girl out of here!

Clara: Guards, security, somebody throw her out right now!

Guests: What is happening? Who is that girl?

Guests: Look at her dress... and she's carrying a tiny baby!

The high-key luxury venue in Dallas was decorated with white marble, crystal chandeliers, and an ornate floral wall. But the romantic atmosphere shattered the second nine-year-old Lily burst down the aisle. Her dusty blue dress was torn, her face was streaked with dirt and tear tracks, and she held a tiny six-month-old baby girl tightly against her trembling chest.

Lily: Daddy!

Lily: Daddy, please don't leave us!

Clara: Mark, tell your security team to remove this brat before she ruins our video!

Mark: Wait... stop. Don't anybody touch her.

Clara: Are you insane? It’s our wedding day! She’s a homeless urchin crashing our ceremony!

Mark: Lily...?

Lily: Daddy... please help us. She told us you were dead... but you're here!

Mark: Oh my God... Lily? Is it really you?

Lily: Please, Daddy... don't leave us alone again!

Mark: I'm here, baby. I'm right here.

Clara: Mark, step away from that filth right now or the wedding is off!

Mark: The wedding IS off!

Clara: You are destroying everything for this child?!

Mark: She's my daughter! And I should have been there for her three years ago!

Guests: Did he just say his daughter?!

Guests: Look at his face... he's crying!

Lily: Daddy, Mommy is gone... and they took the house yesterday.

Mark: What do you mean Mommy is gone? What happened to Sarah?!

Lily: They said... they said you stopped paying for the hospital...

Mark: I never stopped! I sent money every single month!

Clara: Mark, let's talk about this in private. The press is outside, the estate attorneys are watching—

Mark: What did you do, Clara?
