The Stepmother Who Threw My Toddler Into The Deep Pool

The warm Dallas afternoon was shattered by the sharp sound of splashing water and a toddler's terrified cry.

Amanda: Lily! Oh my god, Lily!

Elena: HOLD ON, BABY! I'VE GOT YOU!

Amanda sprinted out of the marble hallway toward the backyard pool, her heart hammering against her ribs. Floating red flower petals swirled wildly in the crystal-clear water as Elena, the house maid, surfaced with two-year-old Lily shivering in her arms.

Amanda: Give her to me! Give me my baby!

Elena: She's breathing, Mrs. Hayes! She's breathing!

Amanda wrapped her sobbing daughter in her arms, pressing the soaking wet toddler close to her chest. Her eyes locked onto Victoria, who stood near the pool edge wearing an immaculate black designer dress and a cold sneer.

Amanda: What did you just do to my child?!

Victoria: Don't look at me like that, Amanda. The little brat slipped while playing near the water.

Elena: That is a lie! I saw her with my own eyes!

Victoria: Keep your mouth shut if you want to keep your job, Elena!

Amanda: Don't you dare threaten her!

Victoria: You should control your daughter instead of letting her run wild in my mansion.

Amanda: This isn't your mansion, Victoria. And you just crossed a line you can never come back from.

Victoria: What are you going to do about it? You have no power here anymore.

Amanda's hands trembled with pure rage as she handed her crying toddler to Elena and stepped forward, staring directly into her ex-husband's new wife's cruel eyes.

Amanda: You think I won't destroy you for touching my daughter?

Victoria: Go ahead and try. Nobody will take the word of a bitter ex-wife over mine.

Amanda: We'll see about that when the police get here.

Victoria: Call whoever you want. My husband owns this estate, and you're trespassing.

Amanda: He might own the brick and mortar, Victoria, but you just signed your own arrest warrant.

Victoria: You're insane, Amanda. Get off my property before I have security throw you out.

Amanda: Try it. Touch me or my baby again and see what happens.

The tension between the two women boiled over as the sound of approaching police sirens echoed in the distance.
