Julian: A wife who just committed felony framing, perjury, and false reporting!
Margarethe: I did it to protect our assets! If she gets fifteen percent, our holdings drop! The mortgage on our Aspen property alone requires that capital!
Julian: You didn't do it for our family. You did it out of greed. You found my private investigator's notes in my study, didn't you?
Margarethe went silent, her mouth opening and closing like a fish out of water.
Julian: Answer me! You searched my desk!
Margarethe: I saw the blood test results! I saw the law firm's correspondence! I knew if she stayed until her birthday, she would inherit tens of millions of dollars! Money that belongs to ME!
Sarah: I never wanted your money! I didn't even know it existed! All I wanted was to earn enough to keep my mom on dialysis!
Margarethe: Shut up! You don't belong in this class! Look at you, wearing a uniform, scrubbing my toilets! You're nothing!
Julian took three swift steps across the foyer. His face was dark with a furious rage Margarethe had never seen in their ten years of marriage. He grabbed Margarethe firmly by the upper arm.
Margarethe: Ow! Let go of me! You're hurting me!
Julian: You don't ever speak to my sister like that again.
Margarethe: Julian, please! We can work this out! We can draw up a legal agreement! We can settle with her out of court!
Julian: There is no 'we' anymore. The prenup you signed explicitly states that any criminal act committed against my family or estate immediately voids your right to spousal support, alimony, and joint property ownership.
Margarethe: You can't enforce that! That was a joke!
Julian: It's a legally binding contract drafted by the top corporate lawyers in Texas. And right now, you are standing on private property as a trespasser and a criminal.
Julian pulled her toward the large front doors, opening them wide into the hot afternoon sun.
Margarethe: Wait! No! Let me get my clothes! Let me get my jewelry!
