The organ music echoed off the tall marble walls of the Dallas mansion. Flowers lined every row of seats, and over two hundred guests in expensive suits and designer dresses turned to watch the doors open. Mark stood at the altar, fixing his black tie. His hands were shaking slightly, but he managed a calm smile as he looked at Brenda walking toward him in her satin gown.
Brenda smiled back, her veil trailing behind her. Everything about the wedding was perfect, just like she had planned for months. She had spent a small fortune on the decor, the catering, and the security team standing by the entrance. But just as she reached the bottom step of the altar, the heavy wooden doors at the back of the room slammed open.
Little Lily: DADDY! DON'T MARRY HER!
The quiet room instantly turned into a sea of whispered gasps. Mark froze, his eyes widening as he saw his two-year-old daughter running down the long center aisle. Her tiny white dress was smudged with dirt, and her face was red from crying. She was clutching a small silver USB flash drive tightly in her tiny fist.
Brenda: What is that child doing out of her room? Where is the nanny? Get her out of here right now!
Mark: Wait, Brenda! Stop! Let her come to me!
Little Lily: Daddy, don't marry her! She killed my mom! See this CCTV proof!
Mark: Lily, baby, what are you talking about? What is that in your hand?
Little Lily: Look at it, Daddy! Look at Mommy!
Mark dropped to one knee on the cold marble floor as Lily reached him. Her small body was shaking uncontrollably as she pressed the cold metal drive into his palm. Brenda reached out angrily to grab the drive, but Mark pushed her arm away and stared down at the small piece of metal. His chest tightened as he realized what his toddler was holding.
