The distant sound of police sirens began to echo outside the front gates of the Dallas mansion. Brenda tried to stand up and run toward the side exit, but two large security guards stepped into her path and blocked the door with their arms crossed.
Brenda: Move out of my way! I have rights! You can't hold me against my will!
Security Guard: Ma'am, stay where you are until the officers enter the building. Sit back down on the floor.
Brenda: Do you know who I am? I am supposed to be the owner of this estate in five minutes!
Mark: You were never going to own anything here, Brenda. The prenup you signed gave you nothing in case of criminal misconduct anyway.
Brenda: You set me up! You knew about this drive before today!
Mark: I didn't know anything until my brave little girl walked down this aisle. She saved us both from you.
The grand wooden doors opened again, and four uniformed police officers rushed into the room, their boots clicking loudly on the marble floor.
Police Officer: Who called 911 regarding video evidence of a crime?
Mark: I did, Officer. Right here. This woman murdered my wife six months ago, and we have the raw footage on this drive.
Police Officer: Ma'am, put your hands behind your back. Do not make any sudden movements.
Brenda: Get your hands off me! I didn't touch her! She fell into the pool on her own!
Police Officer: You have the right to remain silent. Anything you say can and will be used against you in a court of law.
The officers pulled Brenda's arms behind her back and snapped metal handcuffs onto her wrists. Her tear-stained face was filled with rage as she was dragged down the main aisle past all two hundred guests, who stood in total silence.
