Sarah’s fearful expression instantly vanished, replaced by a cold, calculating glare that sent a chill down Mark’s spine.
Sarah: I’m sick of playing second fiddle to a dead woman’s kids!
Mark: What did you just say?
Sarah: You spend more money on their future trust funds than you spend on our lifestyle! I live in this multi-million dollar mansion, but I don't own a single square inch of it!
Mark: This home belongs to my family! I built my real estate business before I ever met you!
Sarah: And you made me sign a prenup that leaves me with a pathetic tiny lump sum if we divorce!
Mark: Because I knew you were after my money from the very beginning!
Sarah: I deserved more! I’ve been taking care of your bratty daughter and your crying baby every single day while you’re at the office!
Mark: So you decided to endanger my infant son just to collect a payout?
Sarah: He wasn't going to die! It was only six steps! I knew he’d just get a bump or a bruise, and then I could claim you were an unfit father who created an unsafe home environment!
Mark: You wanted to take custody away from me?
Sarah: My lawyer said that if I proved child neglect in the household, I could void the prenuptial agreement during a fault-based divorce filing!
Mark stared at her in complete disgust, unable to process the level of deception standing right in front of him.
Mark: You are a monster, Sarah.
Sarah: Call me whatever you want. It’s your word against mine, and a mother’s testimony holds weight in court.
Mark: My word? Did you forget about the ceiling camera you never noticed when you moved in?
