The headline read across major news networks: *Billionaire's Wife Arrested for Attempted Murder of Heir.* Inside Ethan’s private study, his top corporate lawyer, Arthur Pendelton, laid out a thick stack of legal documents across the glass desk.
Arthur: "Ethan, the state prosecutor has officially filed charges. Attempted capital murder, child endangerment, grand larceny, and document forgery. Victoria won't be getting bail."
Ethan: "Good. Ensure her divorce settlement claims are completely nullified under the prenuptial agreement's felony clause."
Arthur: "Already taken care of. She gets nothing. Not a single cent of your estate or Clara's trust. But we do have one major legal matter to resolve regarding Clara's original will."
Ethan: "What matter?"
Arthur: "Clara added a specific stipulation six weeks before she died. A clause that Victoria tried to hide by destroying page fourteen of the original document."
