Mark: You married me for my estate trust?
Victoria: Don't be naive, Mark. Did you really think a woman like me fell in love with a quiet widower?
Mark: I thought you loved us. I brought you into my home!
Victoria: I loved the life insurance policy and the millions tied to this property!
Mark: You tried to kill a child for a financial payout!
Victoria: Good luck proving that in court, darling. It's your word against mine.
Elena: It won't just be his word, Mrs. Vance.
Victoria spun around toward the door. Elena was standing in the doorway holding a small, silver digital voice recorder in her shaking hand.
Victoria: What is that? What are you holding, you stupid maid?
Elena: Mr. Vance put security cameras and audio recording devices in every room last year after the burglary attempt.
Victoria: You're bluffing!
Elena: The study microphone was recording every single word you just said about the prenuptial agreement and the trust fund.
Victoria's face drained of color as she stared at the glowing blue light on the wall unit behind the desk.
Victoria: Turn that off! Give me that recording right now!
Mark: Don't you touch her, Victoria!
Victoria: Mark, listen to me! We can talk about this! We can fix this!
Mark: Get away from my staff, and get away from my house.
Victoria: You can't just kick me out! We are legally married! Half of this property is mine!
Mark: The prenup has a clause for criminal cruelty and attempted harm. You don't get a single dime.
Victoria: You think a judge will take the word of a household maid over a corporate executive?
Mark: The police are already outside. Listen to the sirens.
The distant sound of police sirens echoed down the long private driveway leading up to the hill mansion.
Victoria: Mark, please! Think about our reputation! Think about your company's stock value!
Mark: My only priority is my daughter's life.
Victoria: I'll give you a divorce! I'll walk away quietly! Just don't let them arrest me!
Mark: It's too late for deals, Victoria.
