Richard: It's loading the cloud footage from ten minutes ago...
Victoria: Honey, there's no need to watch that right now! The baby is traumatized, we need to take her to the hospital!
Sarah: The baby is calm now because I caught her before she hit the marble floor. Look at the screen, sir.
Richard: Silence! Both of you!
The foyer fell completely silent except for the faint sound of the video playing from Richard's smartphone speaker. Richard stared down at the screen, his face turning entirely pale within seconds.
Richard: My God...
Victoria: Richard... let me explain...
Richard: You were holding her with one arm while talking on the phone... you were screaming at someone on the call!
Sarah: She was arguing about a wire transfer, Mr. Richard. She wasn't paying attention to the child at all.
Richard: You leaned over the balcony railing to yell down at Sarah, and the baby slipped right out of your arms!
Victoria: It was an accident! The baby wiggled! She moved suddenly!
Richard: You watched her fall! You didn't even try to reach for her! You just stood there!
Sarah: And then I ran across the hall and caught her before she smashed against the tile floor.
Richard: Sarah saved our daughter’s life... while you stood up there and framed her to save your own skin!
Victoria: I was scared, Richard! I knew you would divorce me if you thought I was an unfit mother!
Richard: An unfit mother?! You tried to send an innocent woman to prison for your own reckless negligence!
Victoria: Please, baby, don't do this! We can fix this! Just tell the police it was a misunderstanding!
Richard: A misunderstanding? You pointed your finger at her and accused her of attempted murder!
Sarah: I almost lost my freedom today, Victoria. I have a family of my own to support.
Richard: You won't lose anything, Sarah. In fact, you're the only person in this house who actually protected my child.
The sharp sound of police sirens began to echo from down the gated driveway outside the estate, flashing red and blue lights reflecting through the glass front doors.
