Police Officer: POLICE DEPARTMENT! DROP YOUR WEAPON IMMEDIATELY!

Marcus: Get back! I'll shoot him right now if anyone takes a step closer!

Police Officer: You have nowhere to go, Marcus. Put the gun down on the table slowly.

Sarah: It's over, Marcus. Just look out the window behind you.

Marcus made the mistake of glancing back toward the window, and in that split second, Mr. Vance lunged forward, grabbing Marcus's wrist and twisting the handgun out of his grip.

Marcus: Aaargh! My arm! Let go of me!

Mr. Vance: That is for my late wife, you coward!

The police officers rushed into the study, tackling Marcus to the floor and slamming his face against the carpet as heavy steel handcuffs clicked into place around his wrists.

Police Officer: You have the right to remain silent. Anything you say can and will be used against you in a court of law.

Marcus: Evelyn set me up! It was all her idea! She was the one who poisoned the tea!

Police Officer: Save it for the courtroom, pal. She's already in a interrogation room singing like a bird.

Sarah: Are you okay, Mr. Vance? Did he hurt you?

Mr. Vance: I'm fine, Sarah. Just a little shaken up. Is Lily safe downstairs?

Sarah: She's sleeping peacefully in the safe room. She didn't hear a single thing.

Mr. Vance: Thank God... thank God this nightmare is finally over.

Police Officer: Mr. Vance, we need both of you to come down to the station to give official statements.

Mr. Vance: We will be there right away, Officer. I want to make sure these criminals spend life in prison.

Sarah: I will get Lily dressed and bring her along so she stays by my side.

Mr. Vance: Sarah, before we leave, I want to say something very important to you.

Sarah: Yes, Mr. Vance?

Mr. Vance: You aren't going to be working as a maid in this house anymore.

Sarah: Sir? Are you firing me after everything I did today?

Mr. Vance: No, absolutely not. I'm offering you a permanent position as the manager of my daughter's estate trust and her official guardian.
