Richard: "Step back from him right now!"
Evelyn: "Richard, look! He moved his foot! Did you see that?"
Richard: "It was a muscle spasm. A coincidence."
Julian: "It is not a spasm, sir. His nerves are responding because the pressure has been lifted."
Richard: "You are playing tricks on a desperate mother. I know your type. You heard about the Sterling estate trust fund and thought you could squeeze a quick payday out of our grief."
Julian: "I do not want your money, Mr. Sterling. I have never asked for a single cent from your family."
Evelyn: "Julian, please... if you know something about my sons, tell us. The doctors said the car accident destroyed their spine connectivity."
Julian: "The accident damaged the nerve tissue, yes. But your late father, Arthur Sterling, knew there was a specialized therapy developed thirty years ago in Germany."
Richard: "My father was a eccentric old man who spent his final years throwing money at fake charities and fringe medical studies!"
Julian: "He spent his final years trying to protect this family from the debt you created."
Richard: "How dare you speak to me about my family's finances in my own home!"
Julian: "Because Arthur paid me to learn the physical rehabilitation techniques from his private medical team. He knew his time was short, and he knew you would be too proud to ask for help."
Evelyn: "Is this true, Richard? Did your father have a private therapy team?"
Richard: "He was losing his mind, Evelyn! He was sending money to obscure clinics overseas. I locked down the estate trust fund to prevent him from squandering our inheritance!"
Julian: "You locked down the trust fund because you needed the capital to cover your failed real estate investments in Chicago."
Richard: "Shut your mouth!"
Julian: "Your father left a specific clause in his will. A trust fund reserved exclusively for medical breakthroughs for his grandchildren. But you hid the paperwork."
Evelyn: "Richard... what is he talking about? What paperwork?"
Richard: "He is lying! He is an outsider trying to tear this family apart!"
Julian: "I am not an outsider. Look at the signature on Arthur's final guardianship document."
Julian pulled a folded yellowed paper from his pocket and held it out toward Evelyn. Her hands trembled as she took the document, reading the heavy black ink at the bottom.
Evelyn: "This... this is Arthur's handwriting. He named Julian as the caretaker of the medical trust?"
Richard: "It's a forgery! Hand that to me!"
Evelyn: "Don't touch me, Richard! Did you keep money away from our boys' treatment just to save your company?"
Richard: "I did what I had to do to keep us afloat! Without that capital, the mortgage on this house would have defaulted!"
Julian: "And while you saved your house, your sons sat in these chairs believing they would never walk again."
Toddler: "Daddy... why are you mad at the nice boy?"
