Emperor: You are just a child! You cannot command an empire!
Leo: I don't need to command an empire to know right from wrong! Open the gates and set the captives free!
Imperial Guard: Immediately, your Highness!
The heavy iron gates surrounding the perimeter of the arena floor swung open. Dozens of prisoners and gladiators who had been condemned to fight stepped out into the sunlight, staring in disbelief at the young boy and the white lion standing triumphantly in the center of the dust. The albino lion let out a low, approving purr, nudging Leo's shoulder affectionately.
Empress: The era of tyranny has ended. The ancient laws must be restored!
Emperor: No! I am the Emperor! I hold the crown!
Leo: A crown without justice is just a piece of metal! Take him away!
The royal guards moved swiftly, stripping the golden robe from the disgraced Emperor's shoulders and leading him down from the balcony in iron chains. The crowd erupted into wild celebration, tossing flower petals and banners into the air down onto the arena floor. Leo walked forward, his hand resting securely on the albino lion's neck as they marched toward the main stadium archway together.
Empress: Welcome home, young King. What is your first decree?
Leo: My first decree is that no innocent person will ever fight in this arena again!
Crowd Leader: Long live the King! Long live the Master of the White Beast!
As the sun began to set behind the grand marble columns of Rome, casting long golden shadows across the arena, Leo looked down at the glowing medallion resting against his chest. He had entered the arena as a terrified captive, but he was leaving as the rightful ruler of a forgotten legacy, side-by-side with his loyal guardian.
