Arthur: What on earth is happening in here? Why is there drywall all over the floor?
Arthur stood frozen in the doorway, his eyes darting from the sledgehammer on the floor to the gaping hole in his home's wall. His gaze finally settled on the crying boy clutching Elena's uniform.
Arthur: Leo...? Is that... Leo?
Victoria: Arthur, darling, don't look! The maid has completely gone crazy!
Arthur: You told me my son was dead?!
Victoria: Arthur, listen to me! She staged all of this! She broke into the house!
Arthur: You said he drowned six months ago! You showed me the police report!
Elena: She lied to you, Mr. Vance! She locked him inside the hidden utility space behind the stairs!
Arthur dropped his heavy briefcase to the floor with a loud thud, his hands shaking violently as he walked toward his son. He dropped to his knees right in front of the little boy, his eyes filling with sudden tears as he reached out to touch Leo's dust-covered face.
Arthur: My God... Leo... you're alive? You're really alive?
Leo: Daddy! Daddy, please don't leave me again!
Arthur: I'm here, son! I'm right here! How could this happen?
Leo: My stepmother locked me there! My stepmother mocked me!
Victoria: Arthur, he's confused! He was sick, remember? He doesn't know what he's saying!
Arthur: Shut up, Victoria! Just shut your mouth!
Leo: I recorded all the secrets! I kept the little black thing!
Leo reached into his torn pocket with shaking fingers and pulled out a small, black digital recorder attached to a USB flash drive. He pressed it tightly into his father's trembling palm, his tiny voice cracking with emotion.
Leo: She talked to the doctor man... she said daddy would never find out about the trust fund money...
Arthur: What trust fund? What is he talking about, Victoria?
Victoria: He's making up stories, Arthur! You can't listen to a traumatized child!
Elena: He isn't lying, sir. I saw her bringing food through the narrow access door late at night. She threatened to hurt him if he made a noise!
Arthur slowly stood up from the floor, holding the small digital device in his fist. His eyes turned toward his wife, burning with a mix of utter betrayal and explosive fury.
