The Secret Behind the Dallas Villa Wall

Elena: The police are coming up the driveway, Mr. Vance.

Arthur: Thank you, Elena. Stay right behind me with Leo.

Victoria: You can't do this to me! I am a Vance! My family built this town!

Arthur: You are nothing to this family anymore.

The heavy front doors swung open again as three uniformed police officers rushed into the foyer, their hands resting on their holsters as they took in the destroyed wall and the crying boy.

Officer Martinez: Hands where we can see them! What is going on here?

Arthur: Officer, arrest this woman immediately. She kidnapped my son and kept him locked inside that wall.

Victoria: Officer, this is a misunderstanding! My husband is having a mental breakdown!

Officer Martinez: Ma'am, step away from the gentlemen and keep your hands visible.

Elena: Officer, I broke the wall open with that hammer. The child was inside. Here is the digital recorder with her full confession on it.

Officer Martinez looked at the jagged hole in the wall, then down at the small child covered in dust, clutching his father's coat. His expression turned grim as he stepped toward Victoria.

Officer Martinez: Victoria Vance, you are under arrest for felony child endangerment, kidnapping, and fraud.

Victoria: Get your hands off me! Do you know who my lawyer is?!

Officer Martinez: You have the right to remain silent. Anything you say can and will be used against you in a court of law.

The officers pulled Victoria's hands behind her back, snapping heavy steel handcuffs onto her wrists. She struggled violently, her hair falling out of its perfect style as she was marched toward the front entrance.

Victoria: Arthur! Tell them to stop! You need me to manage the trust fund accounts!

Arthur: I would rather lose every dime than let you near my son ever again.

As the police car pulled away down the grand driveway, quiet descended once more over the mansion. Arthur wrapped a warm coat around his son's shoulders, lifting him carefully into his arms.
