Arthur: You forged his death certificate... didn't you?
Victoria: Arthur, please, let me explain! I did everything for us, for our estate!
Arthur: You kept my son hidden like an object inside a wall for six months?!
Victoria: His mother's life insurance and the inheritance... it was supposed to come to you only if he wasn't around to claim it at eighteen!
Arthur: You monster! You did this for money?!
Victoria: I saved our fortune! You were going bankrupt, Arthur! I preserved our lifestyle!
Arthur raised his hand and delivered a hard, resounding slap across Victoria's face. The impact cracked sharply through the quiet villa, sending her stumbling backward against the marble pillar.
Victoria: You... you struck me?!
Arthur: You're finished! Call 911 right now!
Elena: I'm dialing them right now, sir!
Victoria: Arthur, if you call the police, the press will destroy your company! The board will force you out!
Arthur: I don't care about the company! I don't care about any of this wealth!
Victoria: Think about your legacy! We can handle this privately! We can send him to a quiet private boarding school overseas!
Arthur: Do not speak another word about my son!
Arthur grabbed the recording device from his pocket and pressed the playback button on the side. Victoria's own clear, cold voice filled the large room, spilling from the small speaker with terrible clarity.
Audio Voice (Victoria): "Keep him quiet with the sedatives, Doctor. Once the estate transfer clears next month, we can move him to the facility in Mexico permanently."
Arthur: You were going to poison him?! You were going to ship my boy away?!
Victoria: That recording isn't admissible! You can't use that against me!
Arthur: I will spend every single dollar I own to make sure you rot in a federal prison for the rest of your life!
Sirens began wailing in the distance, their high-pitched sound rapidly approaching the gated residential streets of the Dallas neighborhood.
