Clara: Get away from him!
Clara slammed the heavy brass candleholder directly into the wrist of Victor's bodyguard, knocking the jamming device out of his hand. It smashed against the marble floor, shattering into pieces.
Guard: ARGH! You crazy bitch!
Richard: NOAH, RUN!
Richard shoved Victor backward into the second bodyguard, sending both men crashing against the grand wooden staircase. The crowd erupted into total chaos, with guests running toward the side exits and screaming for help.
Guest D: The signal is back! Call 911! Call the police!
Victor: Grab that girl! She has the button!
The guard lunged toward Clara, grabbing her uniform sleeve. Clara pulled back hard, ripping the fabric, and scrambled backward toward the shattered glass pile where Richard was standing.
Clara: Here, take the evidence! Don't let them destroy it!
Clara threw the gold button across the floor. Richard caught it in mid-air, sliding it deep into his inner tuxedo pocket just as Victor regained his footing.
Victor: You think a button is going to put me in prison, Richard? I have six divorce lawyers and ten defense attorneys on retainer! My legal team will spin this as a catering accident!
Richard: Not when the mansion's high-definition security cameras caught your guard physical pushing the base of the pedestal!
Victor's face went completely pale. He turned his head sharply toward the high ceilings, noticing the tiny black camera lenses hidden inside the ornate crown molding above the foyer.
Victor: What? Those cameras were supposed to be turned off during the event!
Richard: I updated the estate security system last week, brother. Every second of your attempt on my life and my son's life was recorded in 4K resolution and uploaded directly to a cloud server owned by my legal team.
Victor: You lied to me!
Richard: No, Victor. You just underestimated how far a father will go to protect his family.
In the distance, the loud wail of police sirens echoed down the long private driveway, growing closer with every passing second.
