Victoria: Carter, please! We can work this out! We’re family!
Carter: Family? You just slapped my wife and threatened to throw my niece off a balcony!
Victoria: I was desperate! I was losing everything! The bank was going to foreclose on my personal properties!
Chloe: Because you spent millions of dollars on luxury trips and gambling while Julian was fighting for his life in the ICU!
Victoria: I deserved that money! I gave years of my life to this family!
Carter: You gave nothing but greed and deceit. Get up.
Carter stepped forward and grabbed Victoria firmly by the arm, hoisting her off the floor. She struggled against his grip, her heels slipping on the polished marble as she tried to pull away.
Victoria: Let go of me! You’re hurting my arm!
Carter: You are going straight to federal prison!
Victoria: You can't drag me out like this! The neighbors will see!
Chloe: Let them see who you really are, Victoria.
Carter dragged her toward the large double entrance doors as Victoria screamed and kicked, her pristine gown gathering dust from the doorway. Outside, the flash of blue and red police lights illuminated the grand driveway.
Victoria: Chloe, please! Tell them to stop! I’ll give back the mansion! I’ll sign over the accounts!
Chloe: It’s too late for deals. The law will take back what you stole.
Two federal agents stepped up the stone stairs, badges displayed prominently on their suit jackets. The lead agent pulled out a pair of steel handcuffs.
Agent Smith: Victoria Vance, you are under arrest for federal bank fraud, grand larceny, and attempted murder.
Victoria: You’re making a mistake! I’m the owner of this house!
Agent Smith: You have the right to remain silent. Anything you say can and will be used against you in a court of law.
As the cold metal clicked around Victoria’s wrists, her arrogant composure completely collapsed. She began to sob hysterically, her eyes pleading with Chloe as the agents escorted her down the stairs toward the waiting police cruiser.
