The mansion had always been a place where secrets stayed behind closed doors. But that afternoon, one little girl noticed something nobody else wanted to see.
Emma stood beside her mother, staring at the enormous wooden wardrobe in the hallway. Her face was frightened, and she kept pointing toward it.
Emma: “Mommy, I heard something behind there.”
Her mother, Claire, immediately grabbed her hand.
Claire: “Emma, stop pointing at that cabinet.”
