The polished white marble floor of the Dallas wedding hall caught the bright morning sun through the floor-to-ceiling windows. Over four hundred elite guests sat in complete silence as the music slowed, but the heavy oak doors at the back flew open with a violent bang.

A ten-year-old boy, barefoot and gasping for breath in tattered, dust-covered clothes, sprinted down the carpeted aisle directly toward the altar.

Boy: Stop the wedding! She is lying about everything!

The entire sanctuary gasped as the boy stumbled on the slick stone, clutching his chest while trying to keep his footing.

Vanessa: What is that disgusting creature doing inside my ceremony?!

Julian: Wait, Vanessa. Let him speak. The boy looks completely exhausted.

Vanessa: Let him speak? On our wedding day? Security, throw this street trash out right now!

Boy: Don't marry her, mister! She paid bad people to keep me hidden away in a cellar!

Vanessa rushed down the marble steps in her designer gown, her face red with pure fury as she reached the boy.
