The Maid Smashing the Drywall Saved My Daughter

The heavy iron hammer swung with terrifying force, smashing straight into the pristine white plaster of the entryway wall. Plaster dust exploded into the air, clouding the grand foyer of the sprawling estate. The maid, Elena, wiped sweat from her forehead, her arms trembling as she raised the tool again.

Victoria: Stop! Are you insane? Get away from that wall right now, you low-life freak!

Elena: I’m not stopping! Not until she’s out!

Victoria: You’re destroying my house! I’ll have you arrested and thrown in prison for the rest of your pathetic life!

Elena ignored the screaming stepmother and slammed the hammer into the drywall once more, cracking a gaping hole into the hollow partition. Through the dust and broken plaster, a faint, terrified whimpering echoed from inside the structure. A tiny, pale hand reached out from the darkness, reaching blindly into the light.

Elena: I’ve got you, sweetheart! Reach for me!

Victoria: Shut up! Don’t touch her!

Victoria stepped forward, her expensive heels clicking violently against the marble floor, her face twisted in rage as she pulled her hand back to strike the maid. The maid didn't back down, taking the blow to protect the small hole in the wall. Five-year-old Lily was trapped inside the dark gap, her tear-stained face appearing through the debris. The footsteps of the house’s master were echoing down the hallway, but would he believe the maid’s impossible claim before his wife hid the truth forever?
