Elena: Calling them right now, Mr. Sterling.
Victoria: No! Don't call the police! Mark, if you call the police, our family business will be ruined! The press will blow this sky high!
Mark: I don't give a damn about the press or the business! You locked my child in a wall!
Victoria: Think about your stock options! Think about the mansion! The foreclosure clause in our prenup will strip you of everything if there’s a public criminal scandal!
Mark: You think I care about money over my daughter’s life?
Elena: Dispatch is on the line, sir. They’re sending three patrol units and an ambulance.
Victoria: You traitorous little maid! I hired you out of pity when you had nothing! I gave you a roof over your head!
Elena: You hired me because you thought I was illiterate and wouldn't notice the legal documents you were hiding under the master bedroom mattress, Victoria.
Mark: What documents, Elena?
Victoria: Shut up, Elena! Don't say another word or I’ll sue you for breach of non-disclosure!
Elena: She’s been draining your company’s liquid accounts, Mr. Sterling. Over two million dollars transferred to a shell bank account in the Cayman Islands over the last six months.
Mark: What? Victoria, is this true?
Victoria: She’s lying! She has no proof of any of that!
Elena: Check her handbag, sir. The bank authorization tokens are in the side zipper pocket right now.
Mark snatched Victoria’s designer leather bag off the side table, unzipping the main compartment and dumping its contents onto the marble floor. Dozens of luxury items tumbled out, along with three encrypted hardware security keys and a forged life insurance policy under Lily’s name.
Mark: Life insurance... on my daughter? A two-million-dollar policy?
Lily: Daddy, step-mommy said if I went to sleep in the dark wall, I’d see mommy in heaven...
Mark: You... you were planning to leave her in there?
Victoria: No! No, Mark, I swear that’s not what it looks like!
Mark: You were going to let her suffocate!
