Mark: I told security that this woman is never allowed on corporate property! Get her out of my office!
Elena: Mark, sit down and watch this screen right now if you care about your daughter's life!
Mark: How dare you bring your nonsense into my corporate headquarters! I'm signing the custody trust updates with my attorney right now!
Marcus: Mr. Davis, as the lead certified technician for your home security installation, I strongly advise you to look at this raw video before you sign any legal paperwork today.
Mark: Marcus? What are you doing with her?
Marcus: Just watch the monitor, sir. It’s unedited footage from nine fourteen AM today.
Mark slammed his pen onto the glass conference table, crossing his arms in anger as Marcus plugged the metallic USB drive into the giant presentation display wall. The attorney sitting next to Mark leaned forward, adjusting his glasses.
Mark: This is a waste of my time—
The screen flared to life. High-definition 4K video showed Victoria stepping out of the master bedroom, lifting baby Lily out of her crib, and walking directly to the balcony railing. The audio track, crystal clear, picked up Victoria’s cold, calculated whisper.
Victoria (on video): "This estate belongs to me now..."
Mark’s jaw dropped. The color drained entirely from his face as he watched his wife carefully position the infant near the deadly drop, wait until Elena moved into position below, and push the blanket off the ledge.
Mark: No... no, that's impossible... Victoria loved her!
Elena: She didn't love her, Mark. She wanted the ten-million-dollar life insurance settlement and total control of the family estate trust!
Attorney: Good Lord... Mark, stop signing those documents immediately!
Mark: She... she tried to kill my baby... and she made me kick you out on the street!
Elena: Look at the bottom frame, Mark. See how I caught her? I caught your daughter. I risked my own neck to save your baby girl.
Mark: Elena... oh God, Elena, what have I done to you?
Marcus: The police officers are already en route to your mansion right now, Mr. Davis. We called Detective Harris ten minutes ago.
Mark: We need to get back to the house immediately! My daughter is still alone in that house with her!
Mark bolted out of the boardroom chair, dropping his expensive leather briefcase onto the floor, his eyes filled with pure terror and overwhelming remorse as he headed for the executive elevator.
