Mark: "I just spoke with Detective Vance. He's already on his way to the farm house right now."
Claire: "Tell him to check behind the pendulum inside the mahogany grandfather clock."
Mark: "He said he'll call us the second he secures the drive. How are you feeling?"
Claire: "Furious. My body hurts, but my mind has never been clearer."
Liam: "Daddy, is the bad lady going to take our toys?"
Mark: "No, Liam. Nobody is taking anything from us. You boys did a great job holding onto that paper."
Claire: "You boys were so brave. You were trying to protect your new baby sisters, weren't you?"
Liam: "The man said two more babies meant we lose our rooms. We didn't want the babies to leave."
Claire: "Oh, my sweet boys. You will never, ever lose your home."
Mark: "My phone is ringing! It's Vance!"
Claire: "Put it on speaker, quick!"
Detective Vance: "Mark? Claire? I'm standing in the study at the farm right now."
Mark: "Did you find the recording, Vance?"
Detective Vance: "I found a micro-SD card tucked inside an antique brass key cylinder behind the pendulum. I just plugged it into my laptop."
Claire: "What does it contain? Is it my father?"
Detective Vance: "It's an audio recording dated six years ago, recorded right in this room. And Claire... you won't believe what's on this file."
Claire: "Play it for us! Please!"
Father's Recorded Voice: "If you are listening to this, it means Evelyn has attempted to alter my last will and testament after my passing. I am explicitly stating that my entire estate, including all real estate, liquid trust assets, and intellectual property, shall pass entirely to my daughter Claire."
Evelyn's Recorded Voice: "You can't do this, Richard! You owe me!"
Father's Recorded Voice: "I owe you nothing, Evelyn. I caught you transferring funds from the company account last night. If you attempt to forge any court documents regarding my grandchildren, this recording serves as explicit legal proof of my true intentions."
Mark: "Oh my god... he caught her embezzling years ago!"
Claire: "She knew about the trust fund all along, but she didn't know dad recorded her admitting to her own fraud!"
Detective Vance: "This isn't just an estate dispute anymore, Claire. This is evidence of attempted grand larceny and extortion."
Claire: "Vance, can you meet us at the county courthouse tomorrow morning at eight-thirty?"
Detective Vance: "I'll be standing on the courthouse steps with the state prosecutor on speed dial."
Mark: "Evelyn thinks she's walking into a victory tomorrow. She has no idea what's waiting for her."
