Eleanor: Julian, please... you are my only son! You can't do this to your own mother over a maid!
Julian: She is not a maid. She is my wife. She is the mother of my child, and the true legal matriarch of this family.
Claire: I don't care about being a matriarch, Eleanor. I just wanted my daughter to have a safe home and a father who loved her.
Eleanor: You ruined everything! My reputation! My standing in the social club!
Julian: Your standing is the least of your concerns. The district attorney has already been notified about the fraud you committed against the corporate estate.
Eleanor: You called the police on your own mother?
Julian: You called the police on an innocent pregnant woman three years ago. I am simply returning the favor.
Claire: Two officers are waiting outside the front gate right now, Eleanor.
Eleanor: No... no! This is madness! You can't treat me like a criminal!
Julian: You have one hour to pack a single suitcase and leave this property. If you ever set foot near Claire or Lily again, I will personally make sure you serve maximum time in federal prison.
Eleanor: You're throwing me out on the street?
Julian: I'm giving you what you gave my wife. Except I'm letting you keep a suitcase.
Eleanor's face turned completely pale. Her hands shook as she dropped her teacup, sending shattered porcelain pieces across the polished marble floor. She looked at Claire, waiting for a shred of mercy, but Claire simply turned her face away, holding Lily tighter.
Eleanor: You'll regret this, Julian! Both of you will regret this!
Julian: Get out of my house, Mother.
Eleanor turned around, her high heels clicking loudly as she fled up the grand staircase in total disgrace.
Lily: Is the mean lady gone, Daddy?
Julian: Yes, baby. She's gone. She's never coming back.
Julian turned to Claire, his eyes full of raw emotion. He reached out slowly, taking her tired, worn hand into his own.
Julian: I know I can't erase three years of pain, Claire. I know I don't deserve your forgiveness right away.
Claire: It's going to take a long time, Julian. Trust isn't rebuilt in an hour.
Julian: I have the rest of my life to earn it back. Just give me the chance to be a husband to you and a father to Lily.
Claire: Start by buying us some real food. I'm sick of instant noodles.
Julian laughed through his tears, pulling Claire and their daughter into a tight, warm embrace in the center of the grand foyer—a home that was finally filled with truth instead of lies.
